Holiday Lighting for Shoal Creek Homeowners

Formerly Paradise Landscape, we have been installing Holiday Lighting in Plano for over 10 years. We currently light 37 homes in Shoal Creek and over 400 throughout Plano and North Dallas, so I am sure you have seen our work.

There are a few factors involved in pricing a home for Holiday Lighting: Length and complexity of the roofline, and the wants of the homeowner just to name a few. We can do ALMOST anything you want to do, as far as decoration, but we are sometimes limited by the construction of the house itself. Windows, trees, arches, vertical corners, landscape outline, walkways, and shrubs are just some of the features we can light for you.

Electrical Needs

How many of you have yelled and screamed when it rains and your lights go off?

This is because the basic home’s electrical supply is made to protect the home itself. When the lights get wet there is a surge in the system. (We all know about water and electricity).  If the load on the system is too much the breaker, or in most cases the ground fault, will trip. It’s basically a numbers game, certain lights draw a specific amount of power and the closer you get to the maximum amount available, the more likely the ground faults will trip. Dedicated breakers and plugs will eliminate this problem. One thing you should consider is the available electricity in your home. Most homes are not wired for extensive Holiday Lighting so the biggest limitation is available power. There should be plenty of power for a basic installation, such as a roofline and the door arch, but extensive lighting may require the installation of dedicated breakers and new external plugs for this specific use.

How Much For Lights ???????

Our service includes installation and removal, as well as fixing any problems or outages that may pop up. We can install your existing materials or, if you are a first timer, you can purchase all lights, clips, and extension cords etc. from us at competitive prices.

Basic Roofline installation (including all materials) – $300.00

(Includes - $175 for Labor and $125 for Materials)

Amounts are the neighborhood average – Actual amounts will vary depending on design.

The first year is always the expensive year (unless you already have lights), the following years it will be the labor charge plus any cost for additions if you should choose to be more elaborate.

We promise all lights to be removed by the end of January, weather permitting, and are usually done by the 18th. Your lights will be packaged up and left for you to keep in the attic until next year.

We look forward to lighting your neighborhood and helping you to have a festive and enjoyable holiday season.
